Connect:Direct Secure+ service Resources

Welcome to the Connect:Direct Secure+ service resource site.


Wells Fargo uses the Secure Proxy service to shield applications and protocols in our internal network from the public Internet and protect against external attacks. Secure Proxy requires that customers run a supported version of Connect:Direct software, which includes Secure+.

 

  • Secure Proxy enforces tight controls that include:
    • Trading-partner authorization
    • Multi-factor authentication
    • Session break


  • Secure+ is an add-on to your system that ensures:
    • Secure data exchange through mutual authentication, data encryption, and data integrity checking.
    • Safe file transfers through secure transport technologies, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS)
    • Data integrity through industry-standard hashing algorithms and automatic termination of transfers at the first indication of tampering


Primary Contact


Your primary contact should be an individual in your organization who:

 

  • Has knowledge of the transmission services your organization uses and is familiar with your IT network and firewall systems
  • Can coordinate resources and information needed to facilitate the transmission channel transition process
  • Will remain the primary point of contact throughout the transition
